STAMPtember: Damask Greetings

Hello and welcome!

Pretty Pink Posh is joining Simon Says Stamp Stamptember with a brand new set called "Damask Greetings".

This set is available for a limited time only. When it sells out, it won't be available again.

For this card and the matching gift box, I stamped the images with a combination of Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, and Salty Ocean. I tried to use the small corners of the ink pads, because the colors did transfer a little. The oxides are great for stamping solid images; it comes out really colorful and crisp. However, they are dye and pigment inks, so you have to be careful not to smudge the inks once they are on paper. I like to dry them with a heat gun once in a while.

I added stripes of black (I used clear Wink of Stella to add shine) and pink cardstocks as shown. I stamped the sentiment with black ink, and added some Holiday Shimmer Mix sequins. That's what you see in the photos as well. The gift box was made with a die.

For the purple box, I stamped the images with Versamark ink on purple metallic cardstock.  After I applied gold embossing powder, I set it with a heat gun.

This is a wonderful and unique set that will help you make beautiful projects. Grab yours before they sell out!
