Hello and welcome back to the MFT July Release Countdown Day 2!

Today my card features the adorable Safari Friends stamp set along with the whimsical clouds from Love Bugs. I made a long, flat card using the masking technique to stack the animals on top of each other in order to create a cute scene.

I stamped the safari animals with Chocolate Brown Hybrid Ink on trimmed Neenah Desert Storm paper. Once I had an idea of how I wanted to arrange the animals, I stamped the little bird and then the giraffe. I masked (using Full Adhesive Post-Its) the giraffe's leg and stamped the hippo after. I continued with that pattern until I had all the animals stamped. To add more interest to the card, I stamped the leaves and the clouds from the Love Bugs stamp set.

I colored the images using Polychromos color pencils and used a white gel pen to add little white dots on their cheeks. I then stamped the sentiment using Chocolate Brown Hybrid Ink. To finish, I added lines around the edges of the panel to create white borders.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I'll see you again tomorrow for Countdown Day 1. Visit the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created, and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 prize!
