MFT November Release Countdown Day 5

Hello and welcome to My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 5! I'm super excited to share with you my two projects as the newest MFT Design Team member. I love this release and I look forward to sharing all my new creations with you!

My first card features the You Make My Heart Spin stamp set. Aren't the bunnies and the birds ice-skating so cute! I stamped the images with Hybrid Black Licorice ink on Blending Card by X-press It and colored it with Copic markers. I added white accents with Uni-Ball Gel Pen. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the card front, I used an A2 sized Bristol paper. I created the icy floor for the critters to skate on by masking and inking it with Peacock feather Distress Ink. I made the snow drifts on top using the Drifts Hills Stencil. I inked the sky using Wilted Violet Distress Oxide. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and embossed it with white Embossing Powder. Then, I splattered white Copic ink to make it look like it's snowing.

To finish, I adhered the trees with double sided tape and adhered the critters with mounting tape.

The second projects features another really adorable set, You Make My Heart Melt. Once again, I stamped the images with Hybrid Black Licorice ink on Blending Card by X-press It. I colored it with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

To create my front panel I used the largest Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stax Die-namics to die-cut white and Bristol cardstock. Then, I used the circle Starry Circle Die-namics to cut out the middle of the white cardstock.

I blended the Bristol cardstock with Wilted violet, Salty Ocean, and Cracked Pistachios Distress Oxides. I die-cut the cardstock with the stars die from Starry Circle Die-namics and adhere the white panel on top. Making sure to match the open circle with the stars.

I stamped the sentiment using Salty Ocean and trimmed it with a small banner included in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. To finish I adhered the images and the sentiment with mounting tape.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Happy cardmaking!

Hugs, Amy
