MFT March Treat Kit Countdown - Day 2

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the MFT March Treat Kit Countdown. The new Treat Bag Topper Kit will be available tomorrow March 26th at 10am EST.

Custom products carefully curated for hours of creative play — that’s what MFT kits provide. Our coordinated collections are available as a single purchase product — no need to commit to a long-term subscription. The purchase price for the Treat Bag Topper Kit is $30.99.
If you’d prefer to purchase the individual components, you can do that too! The Treat Bag Topper Die-namics and each of the three treat bag options will be available for purchase at the same time as the kit.
Today I'm sharing a gift bag filled with dog treats using the Treat Bag Topper Die-namics with the Flat Treat Bags.
To begin, I Copic colored the stamped dogs from the Puppy Kisses stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I used the dies from the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics to die-cut the Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock and the Desert Storm Neenah 100lb. I assembled the tag as shown and foam mounted the colored images on top.
Then I die-cut Desert Storm Neenah 100lb with the Treat Bag Topper Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the BB New Best Friend stamp set and stamped the paw print from the Furever Friends stamp set with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink.
I filled the dog treat into the Flat Treat Bags and assembled the bag as shown.
To finish, I attached the tag to the treat bag.

Head over to the MFT blog for the full kit reveal and join me back here tomorrow for my release day project. Thank you for stopping by!

For today's project, I created three Easter goody bags using the new Treat Bag Topper Kit.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - CUPCAKE WISHES

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant March Release Stamp Highlight. Today the design team is highlighting the cutest Cupcake Wishes set.

I'm sharing a birthday card that features the Cupcake Wishes set along with the new Big Happy Birthday Creative Cuts.

To begin, I used the Cupcake Wishes stamp set and stamped the solid cupcake bottoms with dye inks. Then, I Copic colored the stamped images and cut all of them out with the coordinating Cupcake Wishes Creative Cuts.

For the sentiment, I die-cut white card stock with the Big Happy Birthday Creative Cuts six times and adhered them together.

The front panel was ink blended with the same dye inks that I used to stamp the cupcake bottoms. I added white dots on the panel as well with a gel pen.

To finish, I adhered the sentiment, foam mounted the images and added a few sparkling sequins as shown.

Thank you for visiting me! I hope you enjoyed my project.

MFT - MARCH BIRTHDAY PROJECT

Hello! I'm back again with the latest The Birthday Project challenge from MFT. The theme for this month is rainbows.
Rainbows are always the right choice — especially for celebratory occasions like birthdays! While we offer a number of options in our selection of stamps and Die-namics that are a literal representation of this iconic imagery, incorporating that cheery color combo can be done in an endless variety of ways. Get creative this month and share your rainbow-inspired birthday cards with us!

My card inspired by the challenge:

To begin, I Copic colored the little fairy from the Rainbows & Unicorns stamp set and cut it out with the coordinating dies.

I made the rainbows using the Once Upon a Rainbow Die-namics. I ink blended them with Grapesicle, Berrylicious, and  Cotton Candy Premium Dye Inks. I added Star Dust Stickles on the clouds for some sparkle.

For the cloud front panel, I used the Cloud stencil and the Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Rainbows & Unicorns stamp set with the same ink on the panel.

To finish, I added foam mounted the rainbows and the little fairy to the front panel with a few jewels as shown.

I hope you enjoyed my project. As always it's a challenge! I hope you'll play along with us. Visit the Card Challenges blog for information on The Birthday Project challenge and for more inspiration from the participating design team members.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - WISH UPON A STAR

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant March Release Stamp Highlight. Today the design team is highlighting the sweetest new Wish Upon A Star set illustrated by Aida Zamora.

I made a trio of one layer cards featuring the Wish Upon A Star stamp set and the scallop frame from the All Prettied Up Creative Cuts.

For each card, I stamped the images as shown with light gray ink and colored them with Copic Markers for a soft colored look.

Few notes - I used the solid star stamps included in the stamp set for the pink and the blue stars using dye inks. I also used the masking technique on the card with the bunny sitting on the crescent moon to make it look like two of the clouds are behind the moon.

To finish, I die-cut each panel with the scallop frame from the All Prettied Up Creative Cuts for the beautiful scalloped look and foam mounted them to the A2 sized pastel cardstocks.

Thank you for visiting me! I hope you enjoyed my projects.
Happy stamping!
Hugs, Amy :)

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 429

The A2 sized front panel was die cut with the dies from the Triangle STAX Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the Love You Furever stamp set on this panel as shown.

To finish, I foam mounted the front panel to the back panel and foam mounted the colored images as shown.

Then, I Copic colored the stamped cat and the bird from the Trim The Tree, the dog from the Yappy Woofmas, and lastly the mouse from the Donut Treats and cut them out with the coordinating Creative Cuts. used a white gel pen on some of the colored images to add details and highlights.

The A2 sized background panel was ink blended with Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistacios Distress Oxides. I spritzed the panel with a mini water sprayer to add texture.

The sentiment on the background panel from the Scripty Bday and the sentiment on the front panel from the Birthday Messages was heat embossed in silver.

To finish, I adhered the front panel to the background panel and foam mounted the extra colored images from the older stamp sets as shown.
