ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - WRITTEN IN THE SNOW

Hello and welcome to the last Mama Elephant's Stamp Highlight Series for this month. Today the design team is featuring the  Written In The Snow stamp set from the 7th Anniversary release.

The front panel was ink blended with dye inks and cut out with a frame die from the Peek a Frame creative cuts. After, I heat embossed the sentiment "Holiday Cheer" from the Written In The Snow stamp set and the snow angel print from the Snow Angels stamp set. I added little white dots around them to add interest.

Behind the two bears, I adhered wobblers I made with thin wires and strong tape.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to an A2 sized top folding card base. On the front panel, I adhered the bears with the wobblers. Lastly, I added splatters of white paint to create snow.

MFT - SEPTEMBER THE BIRTHDAY PROJECT

Hello! I'm back again with the lastest The Birthday Project challenge from MFT. The theme for this month is BARKING BIRTHDAY WISHES.

Our pets are part of the family and deserve to be represented in our birthday greetings. Whether sending birthday wishes from yourself and your furry friends, or to a recipient that is an ardent pet lover, adding a doting dog or caring cat conveys an undeniable friendship. This month, add a cat, a dog, or any mix of the two (and remember, putting party hats on them ups the charm instantly!)

To begin making the card, I Copic colored the cat in the box from BB I Knead You, the party hat and the balloons from BB Happy Hippos stamp sets and cut them out.

The sentiment was die-cut four times with the Happy Birthday Script Die-namics and I glued them together for dimension. I ink blended the top layer using Premium Dye Inks in Cotton Candy, Red Hot, Coral Crush, Lemon Chiffon, Sour Apple, Berrylicious, Grapesicle.

The front panel was die-cut with the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

To assemble the card I adhered the sentiment and foam mounted the colored images as shown to the front panel. To ground the images I added shadow using Copic markers. Lastly, I adhered the front panel to an A2 sized pattern paper from the Over the Rainbow Paper Pack.

As always it's a fun challenge! I hope you'll play along with us. Visit the MFT Blog for information on The Birthday Project challenge and for more inspiration from the participating design team members.
