ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT: LITTLE CHICKIE AGENDA

Hello and welcome to the first Mama Elephant's February release Stamp Highlight. Today the design team is highlighting the super cute Little Chickie Agenda set.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Little Chickie Agenda stamp set and cut them out with the Little Chickie Agenda creative cuts.

Then, I used the FBA Chickie creative cuts to make the large chick. I added a light blending of Distress Oxides to the chick and assembled it as shown.

The front panel was die-cut with the Cloudy Day Cover creative cuts. I ink blended it with Distress Oxides and added some green dots with Copics and white dots with a gel pen. I adhered the panel on top of a green cardstock panel.

The sentiment "Hello Friend" is from the Stackable Cuties stamp set.

To finish, I added the die-cut large chick and foam mounted the sentiment and the colored chicks as to the front panel as shown.

Thank you for visiting me! I hope you enjoyed my project.
Happy stamping!
Hugs, Amy :)

www.mamaelephant.com

Today I'm sharing two projects. The first card features the adorable new Little Chickie Agenda set and the Gatefold X Fence - creative-cuts.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Little Chickie Agenda and cut them out with the coordinating Little Chickie Agenda - creative-cuts.

I die-cut the front panel with the Hillside Cover - Creative Cuts and ink blended it with Distress Oxides. On the panel, I stamped the sentiment "Happy Everything" from the Wild Meadow stamp set.

I die-cut the gate with the Gatefold X Fence - creative-cuts and adhered to the front panel as shown.

To finish, I adhered the adorable chickies to the gate and the front panel as shown.

The second card features the Little Chickie Agenda set again. I  Copic colored the stamped images and cut them out with the Little Chickie Agenda - creative-cuts. I used a thin white gel pen to add feather-like texture to the chickies. ;)

I heat embossed the sentiment from the Sending Hugs on an A2 sized front panel. After I ink blended it with Distress Oxide and spritzed it with water. Once dried, I added white dots with a gel pen. I foam mounted a frame on top that I die-cut with a die from Pegworks - creative cuts and foam mounted the colored images as shown.

To finish, I added a few jewels to the front panel for sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my projects.

MFT - COLOR CHALLENGE 111

Hello! I'm here today to share a card I made inspired by another MFT Color Challenge.

My card inspired by the color palette:

To begin, I made the raccoon using the Raccoon Cutie Die-namics. Then, I die-cut a small heart using a die from Lots of Hearts Die-namics. After, I assembled the die-cut raccoon with the heart as shown.

The tag panel and the banner was made using the Tag Builder Blueprints 7 Die-namics. The sentiment on the banner is from the Sassy Pants Love stamp set and it was heat embossed in white.

For the front panel, I used the patterned paper from the Sweet Stack Paper Packs.

To finish, I adhered the front panel to a top folding A2 sized card base. Then, I foam mounted the tag panel on top and then added the raccoon and the banner as shown.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 424

My card inspired by the sketch:

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the BB Birth-Yay stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I die-cut the A2 sized front panel with the dies from the Circle STAX 1. I removed the circles and die-cut the panel again with the Stitched Strip Die-namics as shown. After, I foam mounted the panel to a top folding card base.

I blended the die-cut circles with Distress Oxides and added it back to the circular openings in the front panel and foam mounted the colored images on top of the circles as shown.

The sentiment from the BB Birth - Yay was heat embossed in white on black cardstock. I die-cut the sentiment with a die from Blueprints 27. To finish, I foam mounted it to the front panel.

I hope you enjoyed my project. As always it's a fun sketch! I hope you'll play along with us. Visit the Card Challenges blog for more information on the sketch challenge and for more inspiration from the participating design team members.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 423

My card inspired by the sketch:

To begin, I die-cut the front panel with theA2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 1 and the Heart Trio Shaker Window Die-namics. After, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Tweethearts stamp set in silver as shown.

To make the background panel, I placed the die in the same positions as the front panel and traced the outside of the die with a pencil. Then, I stamped the adorable birds from the Tweethearts stamp set in each heart and colored them with Copics. I also used Copics to color in the hearts. On the purple hearts, I drew in small white hearts with a gel pen.

To finish, I foam mounted the front panel to the background panel.

As always it's a fun sketch! I hope you'll play along with us. Visit the Card Challenges blog for more information on the sketch challenge and for inspiration from the participating design team members.

MFT AND FRIENDS - FEBRUARY RELEASE

Hello! I have a fun MFT and Friends project to share with you today. I made a wood slice birthday ornament using the adorable, must have BB Birth-Yay stamp set. This is my first time making a project like this and I think it turned out so cute. I hope you like it too. ;)

To begin, I stamped the image from the BB Birth-Yay stamp set on the wood slice with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.  I carefully colored the images with Copics trying not to ruin the nibs (it worked the best with juicy nibs) and used colored pencils enhance the colors. I went over the eyes with a black thin Sharpie.

After, I used the Card Sized Confetti Stencil with Distress Oxide to add the colorful circles to the background. I used the combination of Distress Oxide and colored pencils to color in the ground and heat embossed the sentiment in white. I went over the sentiment with a white gel pen. I also used the pen to add white circles to the background and add highlights to the images.

To finish, I drilled a hole in the wood slice added twine around it.

That's it for today. Thank you so much for joining me during the MFT February Release Countdown. I hope you enjoyed my projects.

Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see the amazing projects made by the design team and the friends using the new release! And don't forget to leave a comment on each members' blog for a chance to win one of two $100 MFT gift vouchers!
